GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of radical generosity. GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Since then, it has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
At MATS, we rely on our community and their radical generosity to do what we do. From donating cans of soup, to volunteering time, and even being a monthly donor, there is so much happening behind the scenes to allow us to keep serving homeless individuals of the Lakeway Area.
This GivingTuesday, we have a goal and we need your help to obtain it! Housing up to 35 individuals means we use a lot of everything. Consistently, one of our biggest needs is drinking water. Our GivingTuesday Goal is to raise $1,500 to purchase a water bottle filling station, install it, and purchase additional filters.
